I was always determined, driven and goal-oriented.... my dedication to yoga has brought out another side of me; the compassionate me, the forgiving me, who can surrender, is self-aware and who lives fully each moment. With hindsight, I see that from the time I first stepped onto a yoga mat, something changed inside me, leading me on this wonderful journey which now, with gratitude and honour, I share with my students.
12 years on a yoga mat and I still like to see myself as a student first and then as a teacher.
I started my practice in Ashtanga vinyasa moving years later towards a more therapeutic approach, my true calling. Nowadays I am a 500 hours ERYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher) and I continue to deepen my knowledge in Hatha, Vinyasa, Meditation, Therapy Yoga, Nidra and Restorative.
ISHTA means individualised in sanskrit, thereby drawing our knowledge of Ayurveda, ancient tantric techniques and asana-alignment we redirect Prana energy to create physical and mental balance. I currently assist on the ISHTA yoga Teacher Training in London and under the guidance of my teachers Alan Finger and Katrina Repka, I continue to study with world leaders Rod Stryker and Doug Keller.
